I've succumbed and asked my fitness freak sports scientist husband to write me a training program to run the half marathon at the City to Surf in August. My first 3.5km run completed! Not only completed but whilst pushing the 2 littlest peas in the Phil and Ted's and trying to keep the biggest pea safe on his bike!
Amazing how much easier it is to run at 58kg than it was at 69kg!
Eating is still off track- I seem to be on a never ending binge at the moment!
I have completed Pre-season task 2 today- getting real.
My excuses are the same as last round- mostly internal excuses as well as the usual- I'm too busy, I'm too tired. Some of the new ones are things like- I know what to do now so cheating doesn't matter, it was easy for me last time so it doesn't matter if I slip up!- NOT!!!! It was not easy to lose those 12.8kg!!!! On what planet am I living, I think I need to get started early during preseason, tighten up my nutrition and remember this is about new habits and lifestyle. I want to be the best version of myself that I can be, the only person I am cheating is me!
One Mummy's journey to transform her life. To get healthy and be totally present for her 3 precious peas!

2nd round 12WBT Here we go!!!
After surprising myself with my results in my 1st round of 12WBT I, a sucker for punishment, has signed up for my 2nd round. Pre-season task 1 done!
Although my goal in terms of weight loss is not as much as last round, those last few kilos are going to be hardest to lose- I am under no false sense of security when it comes to that.
More importantly, I need to further ingrain the 12WBT habits into my lifestyle, with my major focus being the exercise. I pretty much nailed my nutrition last time, with the occasional slip ups, but the exercise needs a lot of improvement.
Today I have taken ownership of my brand new Polar FT4 PINK HRM- if that doesn't help motivate me.....

2012- The year of the beginning of the best version of me!
Well- here I am again! January 2012!
I finished up 2011 by completing my first round of the 12WBT in pretty good style! I made it down to 56.8kg- the lowest weight I have been since 1st year uni- only 15 years ago!!! My jiggly Mummy tummy is still there but I made the great leap of buying myself a proper (non-singlet) style bikini for the first time in I don't know how long!! And I have thoroughly enjoyed our new pool in my teeny weeny blue bikini, without much thought of what I look like and who is looking at me!!
My other new task for the year has been starting a gratitude journal, of which I will share the more profound parts of on here!
Welcome to 2012!
Thankyou for getting me here a healthier version of me!!
PS My journey is no longer 15k's, more like 5k's!!!
